Terms of use

These terms govern your use of petrosep.com. Project contracts and quotations are governed by their own separate terms; nothing on this page replaces a signed agreement.

Last updated: 2026-04-29

1. Acceptance

By using petrosep.com, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Information on this site

Content on petrosep.com is provided for general informational purposes. Performance numbers, recovery rates, and other technical claims are based on commissioned projects and independently verified pilot data, but they are indicative: actual performance on your fluid will depend on its specific composition, operating conditions, and the system as engineered for your application. Membrane separation results are always validated against your fluid during the consultation and pilot phases before any contractual commitment.

Nothing on this site constitutes a binding offer, quotation, or guarantee of performance. Binding terms are issued in writing under signed proposals and contracts.

3. AI assistant

The site may include an AI-powered technical assistant. Its answers are intended to be a fast first response based on Petro Sep's documented knowledge base. The assistant does not issue binding quotes, commit lead times, or make warranty representations. Where a conversation turns to commercial specifics, the assistant will route you to a Petro Sep engineer.

4. Trademarks and intellectual property

AQUA-SEP®, VOC-SEP®, AZEO-SEP®, and the Petro Sep wordmark are registered trademarks of Petro Sep Corporation. Use of these marks outside of references to Petro Sep systems requires written consent. Process patents covering the productized systems are listed on the Certifications & Patents page.

All site content (text, images, diagrams, code) is the property of Petro Sep Corporation and may not be reproduced substantially without written permission.

5. Confidentiality

Information you share through consultation or RFQ forms is treated as confidential. We do not disclose your fluid compositions, project details, or commercial discussions outside Petro Sep without your written consent. Detailed technical discussions are typically preceded by a mutual non-disclosure agreement.

6. No warranty on website availability

The site is provided "as is." While we maintain reasonable uptime and security, we do not warrant uninterrupted availability or freedom from defects. Mission- critical interactions should be conducted by direct engineering communication, not the site alone.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Petro Sep Corporation disclaims liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of petrosep.com. This does not limit liability for direct damages caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Disputes arising from website use will be resolved in the courts of Ontario unless an applicable contract specifies otherwise.

9. Changes

We update these terms as our practices evolve. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
